New York, New York, September 26, 2011 — Coty Inc., a leading global beauty company, is being honored as the Most Innovative Company of 2011 by the renowned Consumer Goods Technology (CGT) Group. 

The CGT Group—a prestigious group of senior leaders representing the Consumer Industry—unanimously awarded Coty with this outstanding achievement following a rigorous review of hundreds of entries. Three of Coty's products were recognized as being the most innovative: Rimmel Lash Accelerator, for its Lash Growth Technology; Sally Hanson Salon Manicure, for the first encapsulation in nail lacquer; and Sally Hanson Special Effects, for its patented film technology. 

The recognition is determined by the CGT Group's Board of Directors, including respected executives from Alberto Culver, P&G, Unilever, Nestle, Accenture, Miller-Coors, Gartner Group, DelMonte Foods, and Rubbermaid.
