Randy has been an Operating Executive at Berkshire Partners since 2018. He was previously Chief Information Officer for Southwest Airlines and spent 26 years at PepsiCo, where he was most recently CIO. Randy received a B.S. from Pittsburgh State University and is currently on the board of the Make-A-Wish Foundation where he serves on the executive committee and chairs the information technology committee.

Operating Executives are business executives or industry experts well known to Berkshire who participate in specific activities that arise in their areas of expertise, including deal origination, due diligence investigation, investment deliberation, and portfolio company advisory services.
