Michael Polk became an Advisory Director to Berkshire Partners in 2020. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Berkshire portfolio company Implus LLC, where he also serves on the company’s board of directors. He began his career at The Procter & Gamble Company, most recently served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Newell Brands and has held positions at Unilever and Kraft. Mike is a former member of the Board of Directors of Colgate-Palmolive Company, Logitech International, Newell Brands and The Yankee Candle Company. Michael received a B.S. from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Advisory Directors are business executives or industry experts well known to Berkshire who participate in specific activities that arise in their areas of expertise, including deal origination, due diligence investigation, investment deliberation and portfolio company advisory services.
