Berkshire Partners’ nearly two-year chapter with Mielle Organics, the textured hair care company, came to a close earlier this year, following the firm’s sale of its stake in Mielle to P&G Beauty. Managing Director, Marni Payne, and Principal, Milo Dee, spent the day with co-founders Monique and Melvin Rodriguez at Mielle’s corporate headquarters recently to reflect on the story of Mielle together. The cameras were rolling to capture Monique and Melvin discussing Berkshire Partners’ involvement, the accomplishments during the partnership, and the values that make Mielle such a special company.
