September 2017Berkshire Partners Announces Investment in Curriculum Associates

Boston, Massachusetts – September 14, 2017 — Berkshire Partners LLC, a Boston-based investment firm, announced today a significant investment in Curriculum Associates.   Founded in 1969, Curriculum Associates is a leading provider of K-12 educational assessment and instructional materials. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Curriculum Associates designs research-based print and online instructional materials, screens and assessments and data management tools.  Curriculum Associates serves more than 6 million students and supports more than 300,000 educators nationwide with its print and digital learning programs.  The company’s adaptive assessments, personalized learning materials and exceptional customer service provide teachers with the resources and support necessary to effectively serve students.
