Industry Veteran Leads Effort to Drive Business for CPG Retailers & Brands by Delivering Personalization at Scale

May 21, 2014 – Catalina, the personalized digital media company, today announced the appointment of Todd Morris to president of its U.S. business. In this role, Morris is responsible for all aspects of Catalina’s U.S. business, including strategy, innovation, client relationships and business growth.

“Todd has an impressive track record of understanding and anticipating the market’s needs, and has been an integral part of Catalina’s transformation from a grocery channel coupon company to an omni-channel loyalty platform,” said Jamie Egasti, CEO of Catalina. “His deep knowledge of the CPG marketplace is matched by his passion for driving lift and loyalty for our clients, and delivering value for consumers.”

Prior to his appointment to president, Morris served as executive vice president of corporate development and marketing, which included leading the company’s sale to Berkshire Partners. In the ten years prior, Morris was responsible for the strategic leadership of Catalina’s U.S. go-to-market organization for CPG retailers and brands, driving record growth and expansion for the company.

“I’m honored to fill this role at such a transformative time in the CPG industry … and in Catalina’s history,” said Morris. “While many are focused on the migration from paper to digital, the more important shift is really from untargeted to personalized content. Personalization has always been at the core of Catalina’s business, and we’re the only company connecting Big Data and personalization at scale in the CPG space. What excites me most is unlocking Catalina’s personalized loyalty capabilities across all channels to shape how the world’s largest CPG retailers and brands leverage mobile and digital media to further transform the consumer experience.”

A P&G veteran, Morris led product and marketing innovation for leading brands, including Tide and Cascade, early in his career. Morris holds a bachelor’s degree from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
