Larry Hamelsky is a Managing Director and member of the Communications and Digital Infrastructure, and Services and Industrials teams at Berkshire Partners. He is currently involved with Berkshire portfolio companies AHEAD, MedOne, National Carwash Solutions, Opensignal, Parts Town and Teraco Data Environments. Examples of prior portfolio company involvement include Affordable Care, AmSafe, Citizens of Humanity, Crown Castle International, Electro-Motive Diesel, Engineering Solutions & Products, English, Welsh & Scottish Railway, Holmes, InteSys Technologies, Lightower, National Vision, NPR, Patterson Broadcasting, Telx, Thomas Built Buses and U.S. Anesthesia Partners. Larry originally joined Berkshire Partners in 1994 as an Associate and returned in 1998 after graduating from business school. Earlier in his career, he was a consultant at Boston Consulting Group and worked at Bowles, Hollowell, Conner & Co. Larry received an A.B. from Duke University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
