Two Leading Independent Providers of Hospital Biomedical and Imaging Services Join Together

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, March 18, 2011 — To better serve the needs of hospitals in maintaining technology to diagnose and treat patients, ARAMARK Healthcare announced today that it acquired Masterplan, a clinical technology management and medical equipment maintenance company. With this acquisition, ARAMARK Healthcare expands its capabilities to service all levels of hospital clinical technology, from high-end imaging equipment such as Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Computerized Tomography devices, to common infusion pumps used in daily patient care.

“The combined team will ensure that we can best serve the clinical technology needs of our hospital partners.”

This acquisition will strengthen the ability of ARAMARK Healthcare, a leading provider of best-in-class support services, to serve the clinical technology and patient care needs of its hospital partners.
