Mark Clein has been an Advisory Director to Berkshire Partners since 2025. Mark is the Co-Founder and former Chief Executive Officer of Precision Medicine Group, where he led efforts to support bio-pharmaceutical companies throughout their lifecycle. With over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, he co-founded United BioSource Corporation, where he was also President and CFO. Prior to United BioSource Corporation, he co-founded U.S. Bioservices. Mark holds an M.B.A. from the Columbia Graduate School of Business and an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina.

Advisory Directors are business executives or industry experts well known to Berkshire who participate in specific activities that arise in their areas of expertise, including deal origination, due diligence investigation, investment deliberation and portfolio company advisory services.
