Brad Bloom is one of the five co-founders of Berkshire Partners, and is now a Senior Advisor at the firm. Brad began his career at the First National Bank of Boston, later became Partner at the Thomas H. Lee Company, and then co-founded Berkshire in 1986. Over his years with the firm, he has been involved across a wide range of Berkshire’s former private equity investments. Examples of his involvement include Acosta, America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses, Avery Weigh-Tronix, Bare Escentuals, Carlin Foods, Carter’s, Catalina, Charrette, Citizens of Humanity, Coty Inc., Farm Boy, GBFC, Gold Coast Beverage Distributors, Gordon Brothers, Grocery Outlet, Image Industries, Miami Cruiseline, Profit Recovery Group, Skillsoft, and Sterling Jewelers. Brad received an A.B. Harvard College and an M.B.A from Harvard Business School.
